Midget 18U
The Berkshire Rattlers Youth Hockey organization serves children and families of the southern Berkshires and surrounding locales through instructional and competitive youth ice hockey. We promote a fun, safe, friendly environment that fosters increased participation, improved skills, teamwork, and long-term personal and athletic development.
**IMPORTANT: We are opening registration, but you will not be charged at this time. Once participation numbers are finalized, we will share final pricing and process payments for registration, jersey and sock fees.**
Ages
This program is for players 15-18 years old with previous hockey experience.
When
The Midget season begins in October and continues into March.
Where
Practices and home games are primarily held at the Jackman L. Stewart Athletic Center on the Berkshire School campus with any additional ice needed being secured at other area rinks.
Jerseys
Please note, new players and players needing new jerseys and/or socks will be required to purchase their game jerseys and socks at the time of registration. Jerseys cost $145-150 for a set of two (white and green) and a set of socks costs $36.
Practices
Midgets practice twice during the week.
Games
Midget games will be played on Saturday and/or Sunday. The season includes regular weekend games and one away tournament.

2026-2027 Season fee: $600-$800

You will be required to enter a valid USA Hockey confirmation number during the process, which will confirm that the player is registered with USA Hockey.
We offer payment plans, details are available during the registration process.
The Board of Directors has approved adding players’ names to the back of jerseys. If you prefer not to have your child’s name added to their jersey, please contact the Board.

Full protective equipment is required and to use code GOALIE your player must commit to being a full-time Goalie for the Berkshire Rattlers.
