Mite 8U
Our Mite program is the second step in the USA Hockey ADM program. This program is a travel program that consists of 1-2 team practices a week and games on the weekend. The primary focus for this program is for our kids to have fun and develop a love for the game.
Ages
This program is for players ages 6-8 years old.
When
The Mite Season begins in October and continues into March.
Where
Practices and home games are held at the Jackman L. Stewart Athletic Center on the Berkshire School campus.
Practices
Mite practices are held 1-2 times a week and occasionally on weekends.
Games
Mite games will be played on Saturday and/or Sunday. The season includes regular weekend games and two tournaments.
Jerseys
Game jerseys are provided. They are assigned to our Mite players at the beginning of the season and collected at the conclusion of our season. There will be a $50 fee charged to your account for any jersey that is not returned by the end of the season.
Optional: A black practice jersey with the Berkshire Rattlers logo on the front and your child's last name and number can be purchased for $35-$40. Green socks can be purchased for $18 at the time of registration.
