Girls 12U Lightning

The 12U Girls team is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young female athletes in the tri-state area. Players at the 12U level Must Register on other co-ed teams, offering them additional opportunities to hone their skills and passion for the game.

The primary goal is to provide girls in our community with more ice time while also advancing the prospect of high school-aged girls in hockey. We firmly believe that this program will contribute to the overall growth and success of girls' hockey programs in the region while still supporting our local co-ed programs.

**IMPORTANT: We are opening registration, but you will not be charged at this time. Once participation numbers are finalized and we know which teams we can fill, we will share final pricing and process payment for registration, jersey, and socks.**

Ages

This Program is for Girls ages 11 and 12 years old.

You MUST be registered on a Coed team to be eligible to play on this team.

When

The girls season will begin in November and continue into March.

Where

Practices and home games will be held at Berkshire School.

Practices

The girls will practice as a team twice a month with the majority of their practice time coming from their coed teams.

Games

Our goal is to offer 10 games with the possibility of additional games being added.

Jerseys

Please note, new players and players needing a new jersey and/or socks will be required to purchase their game jersey and socks at the time of registration. Only one jersey and one set of socks are required. Jersey cost is $75 and socks are $25.

**We are excited to announce that this season, the Berkshire Lightning will be adding player last names to all game jerseys at the Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam levels.  If you have any concerns regarding how names will be displayed, please reach out to a member of the Board.**

Optional: Teal practice jerseys are available for purchase with the Lighting logo on the front and their last name and number on the back. Jersey cost is $40.
