Power Skating
The Berkshire Rattlers are excited to announce Power Skating with Chad Overbaugh for the 2022-2023 season!
Chad began his hockey career as a Berkshire Rattlers Mite player. When he reached the Bantam level he advanced to competitive travel hockey programs in CT, MA, and NY, where he was selected for Team Connecticut as a defenseman. During his high school years, Chad played junior hockey, working his way up to Tier 2 Junior A, where he found great success for several years.
When injuries brought early retirement, Chad focused on coaching hockey. He moved back to Salisbury, Connecticut and coached with the Salisbury Redhawks, Berkshire Wolves, and Clifton Park Dynamo program, as well as some select summer tournament teams. Most recently he was running power skating clinics for small groups of advanced players preparing for college or junior hockey programs.
With his son a new member of the Berkshire Rattlers Learn to Skate program, Chad is excited to return to his roots and give back to the program that got him started. We are excited to welcome Chad back to the Rattlers as a parent and our power skating coach. We are lucky to have such an experienced and skilled member of our community work with our players.
